He is a professor at Brigham Young University in the department of Church History & Doctrine. He has authored several books and articles and was awarded the Richard L. Anderson research award in 2002. Jared Ludlow is an assistant professor of history and religion at Brigham Young University--Hawaii. He received his Ph.D. in Near Eastern Religions from the University of California at Berkeley and the Graduate Theological Union. His primary focus of graduate work was on ancient Judaism and early Christianity. His book Abraham Meets Death: Narrative Humor in the Testament of Abraham was published in 2002 by Sheffield Academic Press. Brian M. Hauglid earned a Ph.D. in Arabic and Islamic studies from the University of Utah. He is an assistant professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. He is a co-compiler and co-editor (with John Tvedtnes and John Gee) of Traditions about the Early Life of Abraham, published in 2001. He has authored articles for the Society for Biblical Literature, BYU Studies, and the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies. Title: Who Controls the Water?
