Apologetics 101 and Final Speaker Panel (WMV)

Michael R. Ash and Kevin L. Barney, Mesa, Arizona: The Foundation for Apologetic Information & Reserach (FAIR), 2003, Windows Media Video (WMV).

What are some of the tactics used by critics of the Church? What are their motives, and how should we respond to them? What are the sources from which LDS apologists can cull information for counter-arguments? Ash and Barney give outlines and basic suggestions to those who are beginning their journey into LDS apologetics.

This informative presentation also discusses logical flaws used by critics of the Church. The presentation is tempered by a warning to avoid a few treasured "Mormon myths."

BONUS: This video also includes the Panel Discussion with the final audience questions for FAIR Conference speakers.

Michael Ash is a Sales Manger for the Consumer Electronics division of a Utah-based retailer. He is the owner of MormonFortress.com, an LDS-apologetics website, and the author of dozens of on-line articles. Brother Ash has also authored articles in the FARMS Review of Books and Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought.

Kevin Barney graduated from BYU in classics (Latin and
Greek languages and literatures), though he also
learned Hebrew and Coptic while an undergraduate. He
earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois
College of Law and an LL.M. from DePaul University.

in the FARMS Review of Books, Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, the Ensign, BYU Studies and Journal of Book of Mormon Studies, and is the editor of Footnotes to the New Testament for Latter-day Saints, scheduled for publication in 2006.
