Astronomy, Papyrus, and Covenant covers several fascinating topics related to the biblical patriarch Abraham, a key figure in the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions. The third title in the series Studies in the Book of Abraham, this volume concentrates on Abraham as an astronomer, the background of the Joseph Smith Papyri, and the nature of the Abrahamic covenant. In the course of treating these subjects, various papers discuss such topics as recent research on the facsimiles, the role of women in the Abrahamic covenant, views of Abraham in Joseph Smith’s day, and a number of other interesting issues.
